Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract occupational therapy position offers the chance to work across both Extended School Year (ESY) and the Normal School Year (NSY), providing comprehensive care and support to students as they achieve their personal and academic goals.

This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting June 15th, 2026. The campus serves a wide range of students, and your expertise will be valued in delivering thoughtful, individualized therapy that truly makes a difference in their daily lives.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Credentials as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Recent experience within school settings, especially with school-age and young adult populations
• Comfortable supporting students with a variety of abilities, especially those exhibiting severe behaviors
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, educators, and families
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals and progress documentation
• Commitment to fostering independence and skill development in daily routines and classroom tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Evaluate, develop, and adjust treatment plans to support students academically and functionally
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with all stakeholders
• Utilize creative strategies and evidence-based practices to engage students with complex needs
