Shift : Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: every other; may have a few back-to-back weekends, but rare

On call? No

Requirements:

• WA license
• 2 years of Level III-IV NICU experience
• Skills required: respiratory support for vents (required), trachs (highly preferred, not required), g-tubes, NG/OG, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, med admin, care plans, DC to home
• RRT
• NRP
• BLS
• Peds/NICU Peds & Cardiac preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Consider first-time Traveler? Yes, but travel experience strongly preferred
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: prematurity down to 22 weeks gestation, RDS, high-risk deliveries and patients, feeders/growers, NAS; preferred experience – surgical patients, HIE (Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy)
• NICU is part of the Pediatric Hospital attached to the adult hospital, with high-risk labor and delivery. Private rooms in NICU, overflow of Level II Nursery for feeders/growers
• Floating: possibly to ER to act as a sitter, but rare
• Scrub Color: any
