Primary Care Physician Opportunity

Join us in providing exceptional care to underserved communities in New Orleans. St. Thomas Community Health Center is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our clinic (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine). We are driven by a shared vision of addressing long-standing disparities in healthcare, promoting cultural humility and a welcoming environment, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. We provide an excellent pay and benefits package (including parental leave, abundant PTO, 401k with 6% match, and employer-paid Life, short, and long-term disability insurance).

Qualifications:

While we prefer 3 years of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine and Pediatrics.
Board-certified in one's specialty (or pending) by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
Provides exceptional, culturally competent care to patients in a collegial atmosphere.

About St. Thomas Community Health Center:

St. Thomas is an FQHC with a 39-year legacy of providing high-quality, affordable, comprehensive healthcare in the heart of New Orleans, regardless of ability to pay. Our mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare access for those with limited options. We have 7 clinic locations in the New Orleans area and 4 in-house pharmacies. In addition to comprehensive primary care, we also provide specialty care in Cardiology, HIV Care, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Nephrology, OB/GYN, and Optometry. We open Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 5 Pm. Saturday am clinics are available and provide additional compensation.
