Austin Launch - What to Expect Lifted Hospice is privileged to expand into the Austin area. We are hiring a joyful, caring team to serve Austin-area families with dignity, compassion, and presence. Training Commitment
All new team members are required to complete mandatory onboarding and training before beginning their role. Training is expected to include approximately four days at our Plano Home Office, followed by four days at our San Antonio Team Training Center. Travel will be required, with Sunday and Thursday anticipated as travel days. Full participation is required to ensure every team member is equipped in our clinical standards, our culture, and The Lifted Way. Your role is all about connection-building trust with providers and guiding families through a tender moment with clarity, compassion, and professionalism. More than a marketer or educator, you are a trusted presence during moments of uncertainty. You help families see the dignity and support hospice provides, while giving providers confidence that their patients are in caring and capable hands. You help others understand what hospice is, when it's needed, and how it brings comfort and peace. While you don't provide clinical care, your presence opens the door to timely support and a care journey rooted in dignity and trust. Your Role in the Mission As a Hospice Liaison at Lifted Hospice, you help fulfill our mission of helping people live life to the fullest. You build strong referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, and long-term care facilities, ensuring more people have access to the care they need when they need it most. You represent Lifted Hospice with consistency and integrity across your territory. Through strategic outreach and strong community relationships, you raise awareness of our services, extend our reach, and support our continued growth in every market we serve. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Creating outreach strategies - Developing and executing focused marketing and outreach plans under the guidance of the Chief Sales Officer to promote Lifted Hospice services in your assigned territory.
- Building referral partnerships - Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare professionals to increase awareness and access to hospice care.
- Promoting Lifted's presence - Representing Lifted Hospice through public relations efforts, community events, and targeted initiatives that enhance visibility and strengthen reputation.
- Aligning with strategic goals - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure outreach efforts are aligned with organizational priorities, market needs, and census growth objectives.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance - Ensuring all outreach activities, communication, and referral-related efforts are conducted in accordance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, ethical standards, and Lifted Hospice policies.
- Managing relationships - Playing a key role in early-stage education and communication with families and referral sources, helping ensure timely, appropriate referrals without engaging in clinical decision-making.
- Staying ready to serve - Working a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends to support referral partners, connect with patients and families prior to admissions, and participate in community-based opportunities.
- Prior experience in healthcare is required; hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of hospice care, including hospice philosophy, referral pathways, and relevant healthcare regulations, is preferred.
- Background in post-acute healthcare sales-such as home health, home infusion, home medical equipment, senior living, or rehab-and experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective outreach strategies within the healthcare community.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with physicians, facility staff, and community partners.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and educating both clinical and non-clinical audiences about hospice services.
- Works independently in a field-based role, with strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Maintains accurate documentation and account activity in CRM systems or similar tools.
- Professional, composed, and adaptable in sensitive or high-pressure situations.
- Brings a collaborative, mission-aligned mindset with a strong commitment to follow-through and team unity.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto liability insurance.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
