Must-Have: ER experience is required. Experience in observation/holding or medical-surgical/telemetry is also required.

Description: This position involves caring for patients across a range of age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates should possess experience in telemetry and dysrhythmia management, as well as PCU/stepdown care. Skills related to IV insulin and heparin protocols, renal failure management, and cardiac and vasoactive drips (including titration) are essential. Experience with blood product administration and tracheostomy management is required. Utilizing rapid response team protocols and providing wound care are important aspects of this role. Knowledge of non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen) is necessary. Candidates should have familiarity with electronic documentation systems. Staffing ratios are typically 1:4. A range of patient diagnoses will be encountered in this role. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must be prepared to complete required credentialing processes timely. Two professional references are necessary, with at least one reference from a formal leadership capacity. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
