Director of Finance And Operations

Remote (U.S.) | Travel to San Francisco ~4x/year

I'm partnering with a founder-led, high-growth professional services organization seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to serve as the CEO's strategic partner and help lead the company's next phase of growth.

This is an executive-level opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys improving businesses through operational excellence, financial discipline, AI-driven automation, and scalable processes.

What You'll Be Responsible For

✔ Leading Finance and Operations under one accountable leader

✔ Driving financial planning, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability

✔ Improving customer and program profitability reporting

✔ Leading operational transformation through workflow redesign and automation

✔ Developing executive dashboards and KPI reporting

✔ Partnering with the CEO to improve execution, scalability, and decision-making

✔ Leading and developing a small Operations team while mentoring the Controller

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of Finance and Operations leadership experience
• Experience supporting organizations with $10M+ in annual revenue (ideal: $15M–$50M)
• Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cash flow, and executive reporting
• Proven experience improving operational processes and leading organizational change
• Salesforce (or similar CRM) experience
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI to improve business operations
• Experience in founder-led or entrepreneurial environments is highly preferred
