Catering Sanitation AgentThe Catering Sanitation Agent is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards within catering and commissary operations. This role ensures all equipment, work areas, and materials meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Catering Sanitation Agent supports daily catering operations by assisting with cleaning, inventory handling, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting.Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all commissary, warehouse, and food preparation areasEnsure compliance with all food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsClean and sanitize equipment, tools, and workspaces in accordance with company standardsAssist with building and stripping aircraft galleys while maintaining sanitation standardsHandle food and materials safely, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and temperature controlReceive and inspect catering deliveries, including performing quality and temperature checksSupport inventory activities, including stock rotation and inventory countsAssist with equipment setup, cleaning, storage, and organization within the facilityMaintain safety and security of all catering and warehouse areasFollow all Safety Management System (SMS) procedures, including hazard and incident reportingCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support operational efficiencyMaintain a professional and positive work environmentUtilizing equipment and other tools required for sanitation and catering operationsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsBuilding relationships with internal departments for smooth operationsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications:18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the country of employmentEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Ability to work onsite and in operational environmentsCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearancesAbility to pass a background check and drug screenAbility to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to follow safety procedures and food handling guidelinesAbility to operate equipment relevant to the position (e.g., forklifts, catering vehicles) preferredPrevious experience in catering, food service, warehouse, or sanitation roles preferredMust be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shiftsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
