Patient Transport Logistics SupervisorAs a Patient Transport Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations of patient transport and lift team services, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely movement of patients across the organization. You will lead a team responsible for positioning, transferring, and transporting patients via wheelchair, bed, or gurney, including those requiring moderate to total assistance. This role plays a critical part in supporting patient flow, staff coordination, and safe patient handling practices while maintaining high service and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision & OperationsOversee daily staffing, assignments, and workflow for Patient Transport, Lift Team, and Logistics staffLead daily huddles and provide real-time guidance to ensure operational efficiency and service excellenceMonitor productivity and maintain accurate shift activity logsPatient Care & SafetyEnsure safe patient handling practices, including lifting, turning, transferring, and repositioningServe as the department's Safe Patient Handling Champion, promoting compliance and best practicesTraining & DevelopmentTrain and onboard new hires across Patient Transport, Lift Team, and Logistics functionsProvide ongoing coaching and instruction to support staff performance and developmentQuality & ComplianceConduct administrative walkthroughs to ensure compliance with departmental standards and quality expectationsOversee equipment maintenance, cleaning, and disinfection protocolsCoordination & SupportPerform dispatching and clerical functions to support logistics operationsSupport decedent affairs processes with professionalism and sensitivityServe as a departmental liaison to address service concerns and support service recovery effortsSalary Range: $31.03- $65.90 Hourly University of California
