Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and efficient surgical workflows. The role involves preparing surgical areas, assisting surgeons, and maintaining sterile environments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures by arranging instruments and supplies.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of surgical tables and equipment before and after surgeries.
• Maintain aseptic techniques by opening sterile supplies and preparing the operating room.
• Hand instruments, sutures, and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping according to protocol.
• Decontaminate and sterilize instruments and equipment following established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited OR technician program, or on-the-job training, military experience, or relevant certifications.
• Successful completion of the Certified Surgical Technologist exam through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of surgical tech experience or specialized training.
