Industrial Maintenance Technician I

Bringing Home the Dough Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards as a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset, strong mechanical capabilities, and adaptability to rotate job assignments across various bakery areas. They must actively pursue ongoing training due to evolving technology. Role requires the ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty feet, stoop and bend while lifting up to fifty pounds, and climb onto and crawl under machinery as needed. Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment Identify mechanical wear; troubleshoot and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs Maintain clean and safe work environment Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.) Perform other duties as deemed integral by management, including fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures Possess or attain licenses required by municipal, county/ward, or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components, and other job‑related equipment Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a technician Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related fields High school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus Salary Range: $26.54 - $31.63 per hour Full‑Time Employee Benefits Comprehensive health and medical benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan Professional growth and leadership training Paid vacation, holidays, and parental leave Flowers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
