Occupational Therapist - Flexible/PRN - Kyle-Buda, TX Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is a neuro‑rehabilitation program that moves individuals outside institutional settings into their natural home and community environment. This role focuses on providing functional rehabilitation in real‑life settings such as homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. Who we are looking for An experienced OT seeking a primary therapist role from evaluation to discharge (15‑20 hrs; three days per week). Providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens: at home, school, work, or in the community. Treating clients beyond a staged environment into real‑life experiences such as cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace. Thriving in an autonomous setting while collaborating with a dynamic team of therapists. What you will receive Flexible schedule created by you. Paid per hour (not just per visit). In‑person, 1:1 therapy with indirect services from home (documentation/communication). Continuity of care as the primary therapist from evaluation to discharge. Team collaboration & co‑treats. Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans. Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences. Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources. Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members. Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you practice. Current CPR certification. A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses (preferred). Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Fine‑motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently. May be required to pass a health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, according to local and state regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
