Per Diem Pharmacist Opportunity – Retail Setting in a Health Clinic

A health clinic pharmacy in the Daly City area requires experienced per diem pharmacists to provide semi-regular coverage. This role suits pharmacists with recent retail pharmacy experience who are comfortable working in a clinic environment supporting a vulnerable patient population.

Location:

• Daly City, CA (near San Francisco)
• Best accessed by train (BART) due to limited and paid parking options

Schedule:

• Friday, March 6, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, March 19, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday, April 8, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification and dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Provide compassionate care to a vulnerable and diverse patient population
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system efficiently

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current California pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to work effectively in a clinic setting with open-mindedness and patience toward patients from diverse backgrounds
• Preferred candidates reside in San Francisco for convenient train access; candidates commuting from outside SF should consider parking and transit logistics

• Parking near the clinic is limited and paid; public transportation (BART) is strongly recommended
• Transportation costs (parking or public transit) are not reimbursed
• Candidates must submit an updated resume, a valid CA pharmacist license, and specify their intended commute method (driving/parking or public transit)
