Radiologic Technologist Des Moines, IA Specialty: Special Procedures Tech (SPT) Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2,846 - $3,429 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a skilled Radiologic Technologist with a passion for special procedures? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your expertise in vascular procedures can make a significant impact? If you're ready for your next exciting challenge, we have an opportunity for you! Join our healthcare partner in Des Moines, IA, where you'll be an integral part of a dedicated team performing critical vascular procedures. Your role will involve scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Perform and assist in vascular procedures, including scrub, circulate, and monitor duties
- Collaborate with a call team to cover emergencies, primarily at a Level I trauma center
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation every 3rd evening and weekend
- Support operating room procedures as needed
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Experience in cardiac cath lab/CCL and peripheral vascular procedures
- Active ARRT (R) or RCIS/CCI certification
- Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred)
- Thrombolytics experience
- BLS certification (preferred)
