About the Role Are you passionate about helping young adults succeed? Woodland Job Corps Center is seeking an energetic and motivated Career Transition Specialist to help students transition into meaningful careers, higher education, and advanced training opportunities. In this rewarding role, you will mentor students, provide career coaching and placement support, and connect them with employers and community resources that promote long-term success. What You’ll Do Provide career counseling and individualized student support Assist students with job placement, college, and training opportunities Build partnerships with local employers and community organizations Develop and monitor student transition plans Motivate and mentor students toward personal and professional success Maintain accurate documentation and case management records What We’re Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience in workforce development, counseling, education, or case management preferred Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed Organized, professional, and team-oriented mindset Qualifications Education & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Business, Communications, or a closely related field from an accredited institution OR Associate’s degree in one of the fields listed above plus 2 years of related experience Additional Requirements Must possess a valid in-state driver’s license Must meet company insurability requirements Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
