Description: MS/Tele RN Weekly orientation Start Date: 6/8, 6/15, 6/22 Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate Reach out to AM for local rates Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Shift: 3x12 1900-0730 Weekends required - 6 shifts in 6 weeks Every other weekend

Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS required Travelers are not expected to hold PALS certification 2 years of MS/TELE experience required Adult MS tele only. Travelers are not expected to care for pediatric patients. Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Daily Census: 32 Number of Visits Per Day: Number of Rooms: 34 Number of Beds: 44 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: Diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, general surgery (kidney stones, appendectomy, minor amputations), sickle cell crisis, GI bleed, diverticulitis, general medicine/observation Special Procedures/Unit Details: Most surgical cases are placed on our unit. Large orthopedic program (total joints), colorectal surgeries, vascular procedures, bariatric surgery Although the unit accommodates pediatric patients on that unit, travelers are not expected to hold PALS certification or care for pediatric patients.
