About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Media Relations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing integrated media relations programs that are in line with client business objectives and brand narratives. This role involves providing senior-level counsel on reputation management, crisis communications, and executive thought leadership, as well as leading high-stakes media outreach for various client initiatives. The VP will also be tasked with managing and mentoring a team of media specialists, analyzing media trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in media relations or corporate communications, with a preference for those who have worked in an agency environment. A proven track record of securing significant media coverage and exceptional writing and editing skills are essential. The role requires a leader with strong management capabilities, a deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also a necessary qualification for this position.
