Hyundai Service Technician The Automotive Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains vehicle automotive systems. Our dedicated team members enjoy a range of exceptional benefits, inclusive of: A collaborative team atmosphere Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance coverage Paid Vacation Time after one year of service Access to 401(K) with matching contributions Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle automotive systems Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised Document work performed Road-test vehicles when requires Keep shop area neat and clean Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology Responsibilities Compliance with the company's uniform policy Prior auto repair experience required Previous experience in a Dealership service department is a plus Must be a team player, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service Familiarity with shop equipment is a necessity Applicant must provide their own tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record are crucial Expected to have a strong work ethic Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility in schedule is essential, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Posting Information This posting may be closed on or before the listed closing date upon filling the vacant position(s).
