A highly respected Memphis-based family office is seeking a Real Estate Associate to support acquisitions, development projects, construction management, site selection, and portfolio initiatives across a multi-state real estate platform. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Direct mentorship from an experienced Real Estate Director Exposure to acquisitions, site selection, due diligence, development, and construction Opportunity to represent ownership on significant commercial projects Diverse portfolio spanning approximately 60 operating locations Strong pipeline of new development, expansion, and facility improvement projects High visibility with executive leadership and ownership Career path into broader real estate, development, and portfolio management responsibilities What You'll Be Doing Support real estate acquisitions, lease transactions, renewals, and development initiatives Assist with site selection, feasibility reviews, and property evaluations Coordinate consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and development partners Monitor project schedules, budgets, pay applications, and change orders Participate in due diligence activities including environmental, survey, entitlement, and site investigations Conduct site visits and construction progress reviewsHelp manage projects from concept through completion Support portfolio planning, facility initiatives, and strategic real estate projects Serve as an extension of ownership while helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget What We're Looking For Approximately 3-7 years of experience in construction, development, project management, corporate real estate, or related fields Ground‑up commercial, industrial, site development, or similar project experience preferred Experience working with contractors, consultants, schedules, budgets, and project documentation Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities Proficiency with Excel and construction project management software Ability to travel as projects require The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be equally comfortable in the conference room and on an active construction site.
