Your future role at a glance Location: Middleburg, FL Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital Schedule: Rotating Shifts | PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver high-quality diagnostic images to physicians by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise exposure factors to ensure clinical accuracy. Administer contrast media and medications safely while closely monitoring patient vitals and reporting any abnormal activity during procedures. Champion a culture of safety by strictly following radiation protection protocols, utilizing lead markers, and minimizing unnecessary exposure for every patient. Maintain technical excellence by ensuring equipment is functioning at peak performance, managing PACS submissions with meticulous detail, and troubleshooting malfunctions promptly. Collaborate on the continuous improvement of the department by refining imaging protocols and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
