Critical Care Nursing Contract Opportunity
Contribute your expertise in critical care nursing in a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient support during night shifts. Schedule/Hours
- 4x8-hour night shifts (23:00 07:30)
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend rotation is required
- Floating may be needed based on staffing
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience; 4 years preferred
- Demonstrated competency in critical care protocols and interventions
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care planning and patient outcomes
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and utilize advanced monitoring equipment
- Respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient condition, following ICU protocols
- Float to other units as needed to ensure excellent patient care across departments
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards at all times
