Overview Summary of Position: Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to show our guests such a delightful time, they will want to return again and again. By attentively engaging guests, servers are acutely aware of the guests’ needs and desires, which will be matched to our offerings. Duties and Responsibilities Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures Prepare the restaurant for service by manicuring section, sweeping, polishing wares, etc. Greets guests quickly and with a welcoming smile; Be polite, professional, and courteous in guest interactions Engage guests informing them of who we are and what we offer Provide guests with information regarding food and beverages, specials, suggestions on wine and cocktail pairings, and answer preparation questions Suggestively sell items the guest may be interested in or that we are actively promoting Naturally promote special events and other JTR locations Take orders efficiently and accurately, then ring in directly to POS. Identify guests’ dietary needs and special requests Ensure guest satisfaction with their meal Knowledgeable in Isla's products served Must be able to obtain Tulsa County Food Handlers Permit Complete all other tasks/duties assigned Qualifications Be 18 years of age or older Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff Have knowledge of service, food, and beverage with at least 3 years of experience in front of house operations (or 1 year of fine dining experience) Have a valid THD Food handler’s License and comply with all THD guidelines Have a valid ABLE Commission LBW license and comply with all ABLE laws Have POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours Personality Considerations Focus on service, quality, and hospitality Great guest and employee relations Demonstrated creativity and forward-thinking Self-motivated Confident Team-oriented Ambition to grow within the company Desire for continued education and growth Kind Honest Trustworthy Respectful Final Considerations We are looking for Servers who embrace our belief that we strive to meet and exceed the expectations of our mission daily.
