Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, LA. This travel position requires a competent nurse who can operate independently while managing a high acuity patient load, including strokes, cardiovascular cases, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis. This role demands a thorough understanding of complex care and the ability to coordinate with other healthcare providers effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side-effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• De-Escalation certification required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• PALS certification from AHA required
• TNCC required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
