As a **Process Engineering Intern**, you will support projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardizing work processes, improving equipment reliability, and enhancing operational performance. In this dynamic, cross-functional manufacturing environment, you will collaborate with teams across the plant to help ensure the safe and efficient production of high-quality food ingredients.## **What you will do:*** Support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing areas to enhance safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.* Assist with engineering projects from concept through implementation, including data collection, analysis, testing, and documentation.* Update and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, equipment information, and process workflows.* Participate in plant continuous improvement programs, including 5S, visual management, root cause analysis, and standardization initiatives.* Assist with operator training, implementation of new processes, and deployment of process improvements on the manufacturing floor.* Assist with operator training, implementation of new processes, and deployment of process improvements on the manufacturing floor.## **What you will bring:*** Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.* Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.* Interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and writing technical data/reports* Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day## **Who you are:*** Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment* Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment with a strong desire to learn plant processes, equipment operations, and production workflows.* Critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset## **To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:*** Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
