Collections Representative

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Collections Representative for a great construction company in Durham!
This will be individual collections NOT commercial!
100% ON SITE
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
Pay: $20-$24/hour depending on experience
Essential Job Duties
- Collects payments from customers
- Sends invoices to customers via facsimile, mail or email
- Calls customers regarding payment status
- Calls for updates on invoices every three to four days
- Posts payments from customers
- Generates refund requests by receiving information and generating request
- Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and customer issues
- Maintains files
- Corresponds with customers and responds to inquiries
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of collections experience
- Must be well organized and self-starter
- Must have strong work ethics
- Must be well organized and self-starter
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
