ISA Certified Sales ArboristWe are seeking an experienced ISA Certified Sales Arborist to support continued growth within a professional tree care and arboricultural services organization. This role combines arboricultural expertise with a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach across residential and commercial clients.The Sales Arborist is responsible for generating new business, evaluating tree care needs, and developing clear, professional recommendations. This is a primarily field-based, client-facing role, with the majority of time spent meeting with clients at project sites and managing a consistent pipeline of opportunities.DutiesSales & Business DevelopmentGenerate new business through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach within the service areaConduct initial client consultations to evaluate needs and identify project opportunitiesMeet with clients on-site to assess tree health, risk, and service requirementsDevelop and present detailed proposals outlining scope, pricing, and recommended servicesMaintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales goalsBuild long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and referralsClient Management & Project CoordinationServe as the primary point of contact from initial consultation through project completionPerform site evaluations and tree diagnostics aligned with industry best practicesTranslate approved proposals into clear work orders for field crewsCollaborate with operations teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectationsConduct site visits as needed during active work to maintain quality and client satisfactionAddress client questions, concerns, and follow-up needs in a timely and professional mannerOperational Alignment & ComplianceIdentify permitting requirements and coordinate as needed with internal or external stakeholdersEnsure all recommendations align with current arboricultural standards and company practicesPartner with field leadership and operations staff for seamless project executionContribute feedback on process improvements, customer experience, and market opportunitiesSkillsISA Certified Arborist® required (must be maintained during employment)TRAQ certification preferred or ability to obtain within a defined timeframeDemonstrated experience in arboriculture, tree care, or urban forestryProven success in client-facing roles, including sales, consulting, or account managementStrong ability to build trust and maintain professional relationshipsExperience preparing proposals, estimates, or project scopesProficient with basic computer systems and CRM toolsValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkWhat Success Looks LikeConsistently maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet or exceed production goalsDeliver accurate, timely proposals and work ordersDevelop strong working relationships with both clients and field teamsBuild a base of repeat clients through high-quality service and follow-throughDemonstrate sound arboricultural judgment in assessments and recommendations
