Overnight Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Position Summary
The Overnight LVN ensures client safety, medical stability, and a calm therapeutic environment during overnight hours. This role includes medication administration, client monitoring, crisis response, and clear documentation, while working independently and collaborating with the treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety checks and monitor client status
- Administer medications (scheduled and PRN) and document in EMR
- Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, side effects, or changes in condition
- Respond to medical or psychiatric concerns and follow emergency protocols
- Complete accurate, timely documentation and shift reports
- Maintain a quiet, structured environment that supports rest and recovery
- Communicate effectively with residential staff and incoming shift
Qualifications
- Active California LVN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in behavioral health, detox, or residential care preferred

- Ability to work independently overnight
