Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing (Med-Surg) Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110–$2,220 Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with variable scheduling Hours: 36 hours per week Start Date: November 2, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through January 30, 2027 Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday Electronic Medical Record: Epic Unit Support: May float to comparable units or nearby affiliated locations based on operational needs Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin At least 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience; 2 years preferred Additional acute-care nursing experience may be considered Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association Associate degree or nursing certificate required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and float as needed Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients throughout the clinical experience Complete patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and escalate concerns appropriately Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic Support occasional care for pediatric surgical patients as assigned Float to comparable units or nearby affiliated locations when scheduled to support patient care needs Participate in every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotations Apply now for this Medical-Surgical RN travel assignment in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and join a collaborative acute-care nursing team.
