We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Lead to oversee operations at our wood processing plant. The Production Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of production, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively.

MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience in a production and manufacturing Supervisor or lead position!!

Please note – This position is in Salisbury NC. Team members must have reliable transportation.

2nd shift Monday -Thursday 2:30pm - 1:00am

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement production schedules and ensure that production targets are met
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure smooth operations
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
- Troubleshoot any production issues that may arise and implement corrective actions

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in wood processing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
