Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required; weekdays flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit with a night shift patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform and document thorough patient assessments using strong clinical assessment skills
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy using IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Perform procedures including IV placement and foley catheter insertion
• Utilize remote telemetry and virtual sitter equipment; document care in the Meditech system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including BSSR protocols and hourly rounding; float between Medical Surgical units as needed per PRN float policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Tennessee
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Strong clinical assessment skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with Sara Steady lift equipment, Wound VAC, and remote telemetry technology
