Performance Load Test Analyst

Job Summary:

The Performance Load Test Analyst for PTC - Journi is responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance and load testing across complex enterprise applications, including SAP, CRM, and integration systems. This role ensures system scalability, reliability, and readiness for high-volume transaction environments through comprehensive testing strategies and collaboration with development and operations teams. The position is primarily remote with required onsite presence in Middletown, PA for key project phases and support activities. Responsibilities:

• Follow PTC SDLC and quality governance processes to ensure performance readiness of UBOS releases.
• Define performance testing strategies, scope, workloads, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using NeoLoad across multiple SAP components, CRM applications, middleware, and customer-facing channels.
• Simulate real-world enterprise workloads including tolling transactions, billing cycles, payment processing, CRM workflows, analytics queries, and batch jobs.
• Validate system behavior under concurrent users, high-volume API traffic, batch processing, and large-scale SAP financial operations.
• Conduct end-to-end performance testing of CRM and SAP bi-directional integrations, validating synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Monitor performance metrics such as response times, throughput, error rates, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries with clear go/no-go recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and automate performance test scripts using NeoLoad and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Support SIT, UAT, PI cycles, Show-backs, Go-Live, and Hypercare with performance validation activities.
• Document technical and functional designs, test plans, impact analyses, and best practices according to Commission standards.
• Adhere to all Commission policies, procedures, and standards throughout engagement.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 8 years of overall IT testing experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on performance/load testing experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with NeoLoad performance testing tool.
• Experience testing enterprise-scale applications with high transaction volumes.
• Experience testing SAP systems (including BRIM, S/4HANA), CRM platforms, analytics platforms, and complex enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in API and middleware performance testing and validation of batch, mediation, analytics, and asynchronous processing.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Must reside within the Continental United States and pass ePATCH and National Criminal Background Checks.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) and SAP Datasphere.
• Experience testing CRM to SAP bi-directional integrations and CRM-to-ERP integrations.
• Familiarity with tolling, transportation, or public-sector systems.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure performance testing.

Special Considerations:

• Position is primarily remote with required onsite presence in Middletown, PA for solution confirmation, PI cycles, Show-backs, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, orientation, and post go-live support.
• Onsite attendance expected approximately one week per month as scheduled by the Commission.
• Must comply with Commission s technology usage policies and maintain professional appearance and camera use during virtual meetings.
• Equipment will be provided onsite and must be picked up in person; travel expenses for orientation and equipment pickup are not reimbursed.
• Travel expenses, if authorized, must comply with federal GSA guidelines and be submitted within 60 days.
• Overtime requires prior approval from the Project Principal.

Scheduling:

• Remote work with scheduled onsite weeks approximately once per month in Middletown, PA.
• Onsite support required for critical project phases and post go-live hypercare periods.
• Standard work hours with adherence to Commission holidays and IT standards.
