Staffing Reason Work Study Primary Responsibilities The Finance Work Study Student provides administrative support to the Finance Office by assisting with clerical, customer service, and organizational functions. Responsibilities include data entry, filing, scanning, document preparation, organizing office files and supply areas, assisting visitors, and supporting the daily operations of the office while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Essential Job Functions Perform data entry, filing, scanning, shredding, document preparation, and maintain financial records 25% Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and vendors | 25% Prepare, organize, copy, scan, and distribute financial and assist with general office projects as assigned. 25% Organize and maintain the Finance Office file room and supply room, including filing documents, labeling files, and stocking supplies. 25% Expectation of Quality Employee will support the mission of Sul Ross State University by providing high-quality, professional services, timely responses, and solutions to customer requests. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in an indoor office environment with frequent use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment. The position requires regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, and vendors while maintaining a professional and confidential work environment.
