Why this role exists Our business is scaling fast.Our digital channels have proven they can produce, and there is more opportunity ahead of us. Hitting our growth forecast takes a specialist who owns demand generation outright. Thisperson will be the catalyst for our next wave of customer acquisition. You will inherit a working stack, a real audience, and a wide runway to decide where our website, email program, social channels, and overall Demand Gen Strategy go next. Expect to set the direction and then build it yourself. We are not handing you a set-in-stone playbook because you are the person we want writing it. What you'll own Website and conversion optimization Own the marketing site as a growth channel: page performance, funnel paths, and the experiments that improve conversion and inbound marketing performance Run a continuous CRO program. Form a hypothesis, build the test, read the result, ship the winner Improve how prospects move from first visit to demo request or trial Partner with design, subject matter experts, and the Director of Marketing on new pages, landing pages, and campaign tactics, programs, and messaging and content Email marketing Build and manage our nurture programs, lifecycle sequences, and one-off sends in HubSpot Segment our database around buyer role, industry, and funnel stage rather than by how a list came in Own deliverability, list health, and the metrics that tell us whether a program earns its place Write and edit the email copy yourself. We do not have a content team waiting to take this off your plate Owned social channels Grow our owned social presence across the right channels (maybe LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, and Instagram), treating each as a demand source rather than a follower count Build a publishing cadence you can sustain, and adapt it based on what performs Tell us which of these channels deserve real investment and which do not. We would rather win two than maintain four Measurement and revenue impact Report on channel performance in a way the go-to-market team can act on Bring the story behind the numbers to pipeline reviews and planning conversations Connect your work to pipeline and closed revenue, not to traffic and open rates alone Work with Sales and Customer Success to connect what you see in the funnel to what they hear from customers The things we haven't thought of Study our funnel, our buyers, and our competitors, then tell us what we should be doing that we are not. Webinars, partner marketing, community, review sites, events, podcasts, whatever the evidence points to Make the case, pilot it small, and show us what came back. If it works, scale it. If it does not, tell us what you learned and move on Treat the list above as your starting point. We expect you to add to it How you'll work You measure yourself in pipeline revenue. Traffic, opens, and followers matter to the extent they turn into pipeline and closed business. You will hold yourself to the numbers that reach leadership, and you will say something when an activity looks busy without moving them. Everything else in this job is a means to that. You do the work, then you make the work repeatable. You will build the landing page, write the workflow, and launch the test with your own hands. You will also catch yourself doing something for the third time manually and stop to turn it into a template, a system, or an automation so the fourth time takes an hour instead of a day. Both halves matter to us. You experiment, and you keep score. You would rather launch a test this week than debate the idea for a month. You also write down what you learned so the next decision starts from evidence instead of memory. You use AI well, and you have taste. Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, and whatever lands next should be part of how you produce, analyze, and move faster. You also know where AI runs out of road. Strategy, positioning, and the judgment that makes one headline work while a similar one dies are still yours. When you look at a piece of copy or creative, we want two opinions from you: what the data says, and what your gut says. The second one is harder to hire for, and we take it seriously. You want the small-team version of this job. We have ambitions to grow fast and grow big. Today the marketing team is small. You will have the Director of Marketing, Product Marketer, and Creative Director as your closest collaborators. You will write the playbook rather than inherit one. Come in expecting to build. What we're looking for 3 to 5 years running multi-channel and digital demand generation for a B2B company, ideally SaaS You have owned at least two of these three yourself: website and CRO, marketing email, organic social Deep hands-on experience and knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub, GA4, and Search Console. You can build a workflow or diagnose a traffic drop without a tutorial open in the next tab You can look at a set of numbers and tell us what happened and what we should do about it. Plenty of people can pull a report. We need someone who reads it and forms a point of view A track record of building the thing and then systemizing it. Show us a workflow, template, or automation you created that gave your team its time back You use AI tools in your daily work. We run heavily on Claude Cowork, and your judgment about when to reach for them matters more to us than your tool list You make decisions without waiting for permission, and you know which decisions to bring to the group first You work well across teams. Sales and Customer Success will be your closest partners outside of marketing Nice to have: Marketing to financial institutions. Compliance pressure changes how a buying committee forms and how long an evaluation takes, and knowing that journey already puts you ahead Paid media experience across Google Ads or LinkedIn. We may expand into paid, and someone who can run it is a plus SEO and content experience Marketing to operations, training, or compliance buyers Experience at a company that scaled a marketing function from small to large What it's like to work here Fully remote team, no central office.
