Financial Analyst - Intermediate

Position Summary Vali Incorporated is seeking a highly qualified Financial Analyst – Intermediate to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL; providing Department of Defense (DoD) budget and financial analysis support. Essential Responsibilities Research and analyze data using DOD's Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution paradigm to daily work Track, analyze, and execute program funding and prepare monthly execution reports Competent and efficient use of financial systems Use automated systems to initiate Purchase Requests (PRs) documents, including generating MIPRs and contract modifications Education & Experience Requirements BA/BS in business with 5 years’ experience in a business related field (or) MA/MS with 2 years of experience Working knowledge of Excel and the MS Office suite Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work in a team environment Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance upon hire date Desired Experience Requirements Knowledge of planning, formulating and applying DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
