Robot Weld Operator - Tea, SD (57015)

Job Description

IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Robot Weld Operator/Technician for a growing manufacturing operation in Tea, SD. This position combines hands-on welding and fabrication experience with the operation of robotic welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic welding equipment
• Fit, tack, and prepare steel components for welding
• Monitor robotic welding processes and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Grind, clean, and repair welds as needed
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and production issues
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Robotic welding experience preferred
• Strong welding and fabrication knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on weld quality
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
