Job Summary
Jersey Mike's Subs is hiring Crew Members to join our restaurant team. Crew Members prepare food, provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and work together to deliver a great guest experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team.
Compensation
$16.00–$20.00 per hour (includes estimated tips)
Paid hourly position
Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
Greet customers, take orders accurately, and provide friendly customer service.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, food preparation areas, and equipment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
Restock ingredients, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Assist with opening, closing, and other assigned duties.
Previous restaurant, food service, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting, reaching, and bending.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
