Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license to practice in Florida (or eligibility)
• Successful experience working with school-aged children or prior school-based placements
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of speech-language intervention
• Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct therapy to students individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ academic and social success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and service delivery
• Educate and empower school staff and families on communication strategies
