Description

American Traveler is seeking a Level III NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Level III NICU and PICU respiratory care unit
• May float to Adult ICU, ED, Med/Surg/Tele, and General Pediatrics
• Night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (must be AHA, NRP must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• 2 professional references required
• Copy of driver's license required
• Full SS# and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level III NICU/PICU setting
• May be required to float to adult and general pediatric units as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect pay rate for candidates living within the local area
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
