Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Therapist to join our behavioral health team specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and case coordination for clients struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience in addiction treatment, an understanding of trauma-informed care, and licensure to practice in the state of Colorado.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct substance use and mental health assessments using ASAM criteria and other validated tools.Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that address substance use and any co-occurring behavioral health needs.Provide individual therapy, assessments, and minimum of 2-3 groups a week.Therapist will be involved providing services in community correction facilities.Monitor client progress, update documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal standards, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, medical professionals, and external service providers to ensure coordinated care.Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.Assist in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.Maintain licensure and certifications in accordance with Colorado state requirements.Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited program.• Must possess a valid Colorado clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or related).• Working with criminal justice involved population.Experience with trauma work, substance abuse treatment.Strong understanding of addiction models, relapse prevention, and harm reduction approaches.Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive situations with discretion.Culturally competent with a commitment to equitable care across diverse populations.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Thrivur Health, LLC
