Role Description The Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer of the school, providing visionary leadership and strategic direction in partnership with the Board of Directors. This leader will oversee all operational, academic, spiritual, and financial aspects of the school while ensuring alignment with its mission, values, and long-term strategic goals. Key responsibilities include: Championing and advancing the school’s Christ-centered mission and culture Leading academic excellence and continuous school improvement Supervising and developing senior leadership and faculty teams Partnering with the Board on strategic planning and organizational health Overseeing financial stewardship, budgeting, and resource development Serving as the primary external ambassador to families, churches, donors, and the broader community Ensuring operational effectiveness across campuses and programs Fostering a unified culture marked by integrity, collaboration, and Christ-like leadership The Superintendent will serve as a visible spiritual and organizational leader who models humility, wisdom, and relational leadership. Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: A vibrant, mature Christian faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ Active involvement in a local evangelical church Commitment to integrating a Biblical worldview across all aspects of school leadership Leadership & Experience Proven executive leadership experience, preferably in Christian education or a related organizational setting Demonstrated success in strategic planning, organizational growth, and team development Experience working effectively with a Board of Directors or governing body Strong financial acumen and operational oversight experience Personal Characteristics Visionary yet relational leadership style High integrity, humility, and emotional intelligence Excellent communication and public representation skills Ability to build trust with faculty, staff, parents, students, and community partners Commitment to collaboration and healthy organizational culture Education Master’s degree required; Doctorate in Educational Leadership or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Evansville Christian School
