CT Scan TechProfession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year preferred / 6 months Level 1 Trauma required License: Must have South Carolina License in hand at time of start Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) Must-Have: Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency. Experience with Siemens equipment and Level 1 Trauma.Description: The position requires a CT Scan Tech. The daily caseload varies per shift and location. The schedule will include three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be a holiday rotation. On-call duties are not required. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Travelers must attend all mandatory staff meetings. First-time travelers are accepted if they have previous experience. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is required. Candidates must have experience with various CT procedures, including biopsies and drainage. Experience with 3D rendering techniques is required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work with patients of all age groups. Daily patient census is approximately 130. The unit has three rooms equipped for CT procedures. Experience in Interventional Radiology procedures is preferred. Adherence to radiation safety protocols is essential. Travelers should be prepared for potential assignment responsibilities during emergency situations.
