JobSummary

TheResearchAssociate/AssociateScientistwillworkfulltimeandwillworkwiththeR&Dteamtoresearchnewdevices,designandperformstudiestosupportvariousprojectsanddependingoneducationandexperiencelevel,helpdevelopandformulatenewproducts.Thecandidateshouldhaveexcellentorganizationskills,attentiontodetail,andbefamiliarwithGoodLaboratoryPractices.

EssentialFunctions

CompleterequiredISO,analyticalandothercharacterizationtestingonproducts,formulations,andrawmaterials
Design,planandexecutelaboratoryexperimentswithindefinedprojectobjectives,usingestablishedmethods,scientificliterature,andguidancefromseniorR&Dteam.
Preparetestspecimens,formulations,standards,reagents,andmaterialsinaccordancewithapprovedprotocols,testmethods,andstandardoperatingprocedures
Keepanaccuraterecordofexperiments,results,observations,andpreliminaryconclusionsinwrittenreports,technicalsummaries,presentations,andlaboratorynotebooks.
Troubleshootproblemsandtakecorrectiveactionstosolveissuesthatarisewithinthelaboratoryorproduction.PresentfindingsandsuggestsolutionstotheR&Dteam
Assistproductionanddevelopmentactivitiesbyweighingingredients,preparinglaboratorybatches,mixingmaterialsandfollowingstandardoperatingproceduresanddocumentingprocessingparametersandevaluatingphysicalandperformancecharacteristics
Supportproductverification,validation,stability,aging,shelf-life,anddesign-changetestingbyexecutingapprovedprotocolsanddocumentingresults
Create,followandmaintainSOPs,records,supplies,cleaning,maintenance/managementofalllaboratoryequipmentandworkareas
Conductlaboratoryworkinsafe,efficientmannerthatensuresasafeworkingenvironmentforcolleagues.
Monitorprocessestoensureconsistencyandreliability
CollaborateeffectivelywithResearchandDevelopment,Quality,Regulatory,Manufacturing,Product,Marketing,andotherfunctionalgroupswhileworkingunderthegeneraldirectionoftheseniorscientificteam
