Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.*The Center for Disability Services is looking for an **Physical Therapist** to join our Summer School Program in Schenectady, NY!**Program Dates:*** **Summer Program:** July 8th – August 21st* **Orientation Dates:** July 7th & 8th**Responsibilities:*** Provides quality physical therapy services* Assesses current level of function* Develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan* Maintains complete and accurate clinical documentation* Evaluates treatment outcomes and modifies treatment plans as needed* Completes student evaluation as assigned, which include initial evaluations, reevaluations, and wheelchair evaluations* Completes report cards and annual student reviews* Supervises assigned Physical Therapy Assistants or student interns as needed* Reviews and cosigns documentation completed by Physical Therapy Assistants and students as assigned* Communicates with interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, vendors, school districts and county service providers* Maintains clinical and professional knowledge base* Complies with Federal, State and local legal and professional requirements**Requirements:*** Graduate degree (Doctorate/Masters) in field of Physical Therapy is required* Specialized training, certification, skills: Current NYS Licensure as a Physical Therapist* Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds*At the Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.
