Job Overview Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain product displays, and perform retail tasks in departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery. Responsibilities Build rapport with customers and respond to questions in an effective manner. Stock products and maintain displays according to merchandising standards. Use technology to complete activities and tasks. Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products. Assist in the smooth operation of the store and positively impact the community served. Skills & Qualifications Detail-oriented and organized. Strong listening and communication skills, face-to-face and virtually. Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job‑specific technology. Problem‑solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary. Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way. Ability to stay calm while working in a fast‑paced environment. Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
