Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Rochester, NY

Job Duties

Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with a high level of precision and clinical expertise.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.
Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radiopharmacy operations in accordance with NYSDOH guidelines.
Manage and document patient data using the eRecord "CUPID" system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and improve lab protocols continuously.
Uphold organizational values-Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence-in every aspect of your work.
Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoidosis or viability studies.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
At least 6 months of experience in Cardiac Imaging.
New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
Certification from NMTCB or ARRT(N).
CT certification required to perform CT scans.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program.
