About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology provides high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing invasive radiology procedures. This role is ideal for nurses with strong assessment skills and experience in critical care. Highlights Location: Bridgeport, CT Facility: St. Vincent's Medical Center Schedule: PRN, Day shifts M-F with evening and weekend call requirements What You'll Do Provide nursing care across all imaging modalities within the Radiology Department. Apply all phases of care for invasive radiology procedures: pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure. Demonstrate competency in advanced patient assessment skills of all body systems. Function as clinically competent in procedural sedation and administering conscious sedation. Understand the sedation recovery phase, reversal agents, and airway recovery skills. Delegate and supervise the work of Patient Care Assistants (PCA) and Patient Attendants (PAA). Report to the Unit Manager.
