License: Current RN license required

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: Must have a current driver's license

Description: Mon - Fri, from 10 AM to 7 PM. Call is required from 10 PM to 8 AM (Monday to Thursday nights). Call is shared between 2 RNs each night. May or may not receive triage calls or make visits during call time. Experience with the analgesic ladder and adjuvant therapy is preferred. Familiarity with advanced directives and altered mental status required. Candidates should possess skills in pain assessment and pharmacologic/non-pharmacological pain interventions. Experience in providing end-of-life care to adult and pediatric patients is essential. Responsibilities include setting goals with patients and families, conducting intake assessments, and providing patient and family education. Availability to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer is required. Candidates should avoid activities that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival.
