Manufacturing Associate II / III, Purification (Days)

Biogen seeks Manufacturing Associates for purification operations at its Research Triangle Park facility. The role involves executing biomanufacturing processes including column chromatography, viral filtration, and ultrafiltration within a cGMP-regulated environment, working 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities including column chromatography, viral filtration, ultrafiltration, and bulk drug substance dispensing
• Operate process equipment and execute validation protocols according to cGMP Standard Operating Procedures
• Document and record all cGMP data, deviations, batch records, and equipment activity logs
• Conduct in-process sampling and analysis including pH, conductivity, protein concentration, and osmolarity measurements
• Maintain clean and safe work environment while ensuring process area audit readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field with 0+ years experience, or associate's/BioWorks certificate, or high school diploma with 0.5-1.5 years experience
• Previous experience in GxP or cGMP manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Good Documentation Practices
• Preferred experience in aseptic or cleanroom manufacturing settings
• Understanding of process automation and software systems such as DeltaV or LIMS
• Previous pipetting experience in laboratory or manufacturing environment (preferred)

Compensation: $23.56-$34.14 base salary
