Senior Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a senior-level Water Resources Engineer in Northern Virginia to serve as a lead technical modeler on complex water resources projects. This role focuses on advanced H&H modeling, floodplain and dam analysis, permitting, and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities Lead development and QA/QC of HEC-RAS models Perform floodplain and dam analyses, including breach and hazard studies Prepare and review permitting packages (e.g., CLOMR/LOMR) Develop technical reports and support regulatory coordination Conduct site visits and inspections Manage multiple projects and timelines Mentor and oversee junior staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 5+ years of HEC-RAS modeling experience Professional Engineer (PE) license Proficiency in GIS (e.g., ArcMap) Strong analytical, communication, and QA/QC skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
