Role Overview: The SMIT program provides a 16‑week development‑focused experience to prepare candidates for a CVS Store Manager position. Skills Required Communicate verbally and in writing to support and lead the team. Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Responsibilities Engage with leader during Key Learning Experiences to support promotion path. Act as a management team member and lead consistently with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose. Accept promotion roles at any location within the designated market. Qualifications Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the market. Flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs. High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant experience may be considered. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Employment Details Anticipated weekly hours: 45 Time type: Full time Pay range: $18.50 – $28.67 per hour (base salary) Benefits This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and additional resources based on eligibility.
