Java DeveloperThe Java Developer will be tasked with developing, creating and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzing user needs and developing software solutions. Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.Requirements:Agile/Scrum experienceBS/BA in Computer Science / Engineering or related technical degreeMinimum of 2 years of experience with Spring MVC 4.0 or higherMinimum of 3 years of experience with Java and OO conceptsExperience in configuring/working with Spring MVC using annotationsExperience configuring and using Spring BootExperience with persistence providers like Hibernate or JPAExperience with developing & consuming REST APIsExperience with developing test cases & testing using JUnit, Mockito, dbUnit, etc.1-2 years of experience working with relational databases via SpringExperience working with JSONExperience with development tools: Jetbrains IntelliJ, Maven, GitAble to take specification and turn it into working code with little oversightAt least intermediate level understanding of and database caching techniquesAbility to set priorities, adapt to change, and meet established timelinesOptional but desired:Knowledge and/or experience using Spring SecurityExperience deploying Spring Applications to an application serverHands on experience using the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket Server, Bamboo)Hands on experience on Microsoft SQL Server / Transact-SQLKnowledge on integrating REST services with Angular JS/JavaScript based application
